Year Four and so much More

For many years, St Peter’s has enjoyed a long-standing and valued partnership with Warrawee Aged Care. Through this partnership, our students have the wonderful opportunity to visit older members of our community and participate in a range of afternoon activities.

Over the years, these activities have included scone making, card games, board games, craft activities, bingo and indoor bowling. These visits provide our students with so much more than simply an afternoon activity. They have the opportunity to listen to residents’ stories and experiences, assist them with activities, and enjoy meaningful conversations with people from a different generation.

The experience is equally rewarding for the residents, many of whom eagerly look forward to the students’ visits and the companionship, conversation and activities they bring. These intergenerational connections are a highlight for both our students and the residents, fostering a wonderful sense of community, connection and mutual respect.

This term 4WH is visiting Warrawee and in Term 4 it will be 4ML' turn.
