GTS SUSTAINABLE CITIES

YEAR 10 VET & APPLIED SCIENCE

Last week, our Year 10 VET & Applied Science students took part in the Smarter Cities, Sustainable Solutions program at Gippsland Tech School.

They explored how science and emerging technologies can shape sustainable cities—focusing on energy, resources, and environmental impact. Students designed, built, and pitched innovative solutions using sensors, renewable energy, and alternative materials.

Working together, they tackled real-world challenges and created prototypes to help build smarter, greener cities for the future.
