YEAR 7s RECEIVE THEIR WINGS

As Term 1 draws to a close, our whole school community recently came together for a special assembly celebrating one of our most valued traditions at Korumburra Secondary College—the presentation of “wings” to our Year 7 students.

This ceremony marks an important milestone in the journey of our newest students. The awarding of wings symbolises their successful transition into secondary school life and their growing sense of belonging within our college. It is a moment of pride not only for the students themselves, but also for their families, teachers, and peers who have supported them throughout their first term.

In addition to this special tradition, a number of students across the school were recognised for their outstanding achievements. These acknowledgements highlight the diverse talents and efforts of our students and reinforce the values we strive to uphold as a college.
