Kitchen Garden

Kitchen Garden has been a little different so far this term. There was an abundance of carrots and jalapenos in the patch so students have trialled roasted carrot soup with yoghurt flatbread, as well as taking home some green apple and jalapeno hot sauce – if they dared. Students have also revegetated a section of the garden outside H-Wing and B-Wing, helping to improve the College grounds for the LHC community. Not forgetting the veggie garden, the silverbeet, rhubarb and beetroot are growing well and the broccoli is starting to grow. We are looking forward to using this produce as the term continues.
