• Library Borrowing is on a Wednesday. A great opportunity for students to borrow a book from our Library. We need to remember to bring a library bag and to return our book each week.

   

Homework

The school has purchased a subscription for an online tool, Maths Online, for Year 5 students to use at school as well as part of Home Learning, to consolidate mathematical concepts taught and to develop fluency in times tables and number sense skills. 

Students have been given their own username and password and are encouraged to complete the assigned tasks which will reflect concepts explored in the previous week. Students will have from Monday to Thursday to complete these tasks which can be accessed via this link.

All Year 5 students have been issued with a DO IT Diary. There is an expectation that this diary is at school every day. Students use their diaries to write reminders and record special dates. They are encouraged to write in their diary what they read each night, as well as document any Maths Online tasks they engage in at home.
