Indonesian Speaking Competition
Over the past couple of weeks, our school’s Indonesian Speaking Competition reached an exciting conclusion with a highly competitive Final Round. Five outstanding speakers from each year level were selected to compete, showcasing their confidence, pronunciation, fluency, and presentation skills in Indonesian. Every finalist performed exceptionally well, making the judging process very difficult!
Our judging panel included several teachers along with our Principal, Pak Perini, who were all impressed by the high standard of speaking and the effort shown by every participant.
At last Monday’s assembly, we proudly celebrated our finalists and announced the Top 3 winners from each year level during the award presentation ceremony. All finalists received a certificate and a prize bag in recognition of their hard work and achievement.
We also announced the winners of the VILTA Indonesian Poster Competition that students participated in during Term 1. This year’s theme was “Why Learn Indonesian?” and students created thoughtful and creative posters highlighting the importance and benefits of learning the language. The organisers selected only one winner from each year level across all participating schools, making this a significant achievement. We are proud to share that our school had four winning students — an outstanding result and a wonderful achievement for our Indonesian program!
Congratulations to all students who participated and represented their year levels so proudly. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and enthusiasm for learning Indonesian. We look forward to seeing everyone again in next year’s competition!
Sampai jumpa!
