MLA

A couple of weeks ago, MLA enjoyed an exciting excursion to Scienceworks. As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted by a breathtaking display of the moon suspended from the ceiling, setting the tone for a day of wonder and discovery.
Our first stop was the Planetarium, where we watched a fascinating film about Earth’s tilt, the sun, and the seasons. Afterward, we were treated to an incredible display of the stars, galaxies, and planets.
After the Planetarium, we explored the many interactive exhibits Scienceworks has to offer. Highlights included racing Cathy Freeman, experiencing the challenge of racing in a wheelchair, navigating a maze of mirrors, and engaging with a variety of activities that stretched our curiosity and thinking.
The excursion was a great success, with students fully engaged, learning in meaningful ways, and having a fantastic time together.
