A Message from the Deputy Principal

Performance - The Compass in Me
Rehearsals for The Compass in Me are going wonderfully, with our first full run-through taking place on Wednesday. The children are excited and have really enjoyed seeing each other perform after weeks of preparation in their Stomp dance sessions.
This performance is a wonderful learning opportunity for our students. Through the process, they are learning resilience as they persist through challenges, confidence as they step onto the stage, teamwork as they rely on one another, and creativity as they express themselves in new ways. For many students, this has meant moving outside their comfort zones, an experience that leaves them with a real sense of pride and achievement. Some nerves are to be expected, but with the support and guidance of staff and families, students are encouraged to shine.
A reminder that this is a compulsory school event. If, for any reason, your child is unable to attend, please contact Maria or myself via email.
Safety Reminder – Dogs in the School Yard
For the safety and wellbeing of all students, families, and staff, we kindly remind families that dogs are not to be brought onto the school grounds. Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our school a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
Father’s Day Activity
It was wonderful to see so many fathers and special visitors join us for the craft activity on Monday. The students loved welcoming these important people into our school to celebrate the impact and guidance they provide in their lives. The event was a beautiful celebration of community and connection. Please enjoy some photos below capturing these special moments.
We also take this opportunity to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all dads, grandfathers, uncles, and those who show fatherly love and care in the lives of our students. Your presence, encouragement and example make a lasting difference.
Warm regards,
Sarah Goulding
Deputy Principal
