Out And About

Q+A EXPRERIENCE

Though I am not an expert in the world of politics, going to the Q+A TV show was a thought-provoking experience that brought to my attention how the important issues like; war in the Middle East and the increasing cost of living, can unite people, regardless of their differences.

The panel consisted of Malarndirri McCarthy (Assistant Minister for Indigenous Australians & Indigenous Health), Julian Leeser (Liberal Member for Berowra), Geraldine Brooks (Pulitzer Prize-Winning Author & Journalist), Gideon Rachman (Chief Foreign Affairs Columnist, Financial Times), and Jelena Dokic (Tennis Champion & Broadcaster).

I got to learn more about the economic and political state of the world which I probably would not have known otherwise. There were many different emotions in the crowd during some contentious moments, but overall, Monday’s show was not only thoughtful and educational, but also enjoyable and light-hearted (courtesy of the host and warm-up guy).

I would d like to say a huge thanks to Mrs Sarah Bahramis, Mr Anthony Keane, and Ms Victoria  Stewart for taking time out of their day and taking us to this amazing experience.
