Today (Thursday 13th September) we had 53 students represent the College at division athletics at Casey Fields.  The students represented the College exceptionally well, giving their all in warm conditions.

Pleasingly, out of 10 schools, we finished a super impressive 4th overall!!!

 

We also had 19 students qualify for the regional athletics in Term 4:

  • Jordan Milne (12-13 boys): 1500m 1st, 800m 1st
  • Murtaza Hassan (15 boys): 100m 1st, 200m 1st
  • Brenton Grbim (14 boys): 100m 1st, 200m 1st
  • Theresa Latu (17 girls): discus 1st, shot put (new record!!) 1st
  • Lomi Paniora (18-20 girls): discus 1st, shot put 1st
  • Bernadette Toumaoe (14 girls): discus 1st, shot put 1st
  • Batoor Jamalie (18-20 boys): 110m hurdle 1st, triple jump 1st
  • Sauleola Maalo (12-13 boys): 100m 1st
  • Eugene Siilata (12-13 boys): discus 1st
  • Felix Tua (12-13 boys): triple jump 1st
  • Fahtima Afaese (15 girls): discus 1st
  • Jireh Talaifaga (16 girls): high jump 1st
  • Kevin Keng (16 boys): 110m hurdles 1st
  • Tom Bandi (16 boys): discus 1st
  • Ty Kirkwood (14 boys): long jump 1st
  • Amira Addisu-Tebebu (14 girls): 1500m 2nd
  • Joel Mulligan (12-13 boys): 1500m 2nd
  • 16 boys, 4x100m relay: Sefo Maalo, Mason Heeger, Tom Bandi and Kevin Keng 1st (4th year in a row!!!!!!)
