2021 College Production

This year, Kilbreda College will be performing 'Roald Dahl's Matilida the Musical' as their College production, in collaboration with St Bede's College.

With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda has won 47 international awards and continues to thrill sold-out audiences of all ages around the world.'

Packed with high-energy dance numbers, catchy songs and an unforgettable star turn for a young actress, Matilda is a joyous girl power romp. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.' 1

At the beginning of the year, over 150 students from Kilbreda and St Bede’s College sang and danced for the audition panel over seven nights of auditions!  The panel were so impressed with how students prepared, overcame nerves and supported one another in these auditions.

Due to the large number of performances, some lead roles were split and the large junior ensemble was also split meaning many more students will have the opportunity to shine!

Performances will take place in the Kilbreda College Auditorium from 11 to 15 August and 19 to 22 August.
