2020 - 1 Year Reunion

2020 - 1 Year Reunion

Friday 21 May was the first time the Class of 2020 had reunited since we all graduated in December last year. Walking into the Mary Dalton Hall as ‘past pupils’ was a very surreal moment for all of us.

The Hall was set up so beautifully with rows of round tables and chairs, with high tea towers full of food spread amongst all of the balloons for the 90+ past pupils who attended the evening. Everyone’s smiling faces brought the atmosphere to life and seeing our teachers again for many life updates was so lovely as well.

Not only was it so lovely to hear how well the College is doing post COVID but also how well each girl is doing as well. Everyone had a story to tell about university, TAFE, work or just life in general! It was the first real gathering we had had since COVID began in March of our Year 12 year, and to have next to no COVID-19 restrictions compared to this time last year was such an amazing turnaround, one which we all noticed and were so grateful for.

Seeing everyone’s smiling faces throughout the playing of Year 12 videos brought back so many precious memories, and it truly felt so nostalgic as well. On the night it was clear to us just how quickly life does go by!

The chatter didn’t die for a second, up until it was time to say goodbye. It’s fair to say we are all looking forward to reunions ahead and wishing everyone the very best for what is to come!
