Shining on the State Chinese Reading Stage!

 We are delighted to share some exciting news about our talented Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 students who fearlessly showcased their exceptional language skills and passion for Chinese on a grand stage. These remarkable students represented Reservoir High School in the State Chinese Reading Competition, competing against more than 30 schools from all over Victoria, the majority of which were private schools with students who have been learning Chinese since primary school.

Reservoir High School students' participation in the State Chinese Reading Competition itself is a testament to their dedication and enthusiasm for the Chinese language. They boldly stood before the audience, demonstrating their linguistic abilities and representing Reservoir High School with pride.

Champions of the Internal School Reading Competition

Before their journey to the state competition, these bright young minds exhibited their language prowess in the Internal School Reading Competition. Their outstanding performance earned them the title of "Champion" in their respective year levels. We commend them for their exceptional achievement within our school community.

Participating in such a fiercely contested event demands not just linguistic skills but also courage and determination. Our students exemplify the values instilled in them by their teachers and the Reservoir High School community, as they fearlessly embraced the challenge and gained invaluable experience and personal growth through this journey.
