Principal's Message

Aspire Celebrate Reflect

Dear Parents,

This week we have had some great activities within The Minnamurra Hall. On Wednesday the McKay and Rolland House Assembly was full of energy, and on Thursday the inaugural Smarts Performance highlighted the efforts of our Year 7 & 8 students. Congratulations to everyone involved in both events.

Congratulations also to the many students who have been competing in the Centralian Eisteddfod, as well as a number of school groups. We are lucky to have very talented students and staff.

Next week is Year 11 exams and I wish all our students the best of luck, then on Wednesday and Thursday nights next week is our senior play A Doll's House, performed by our Year 12 Drama students and crewed by our Year 11 Drama students.

Every term is busy, due to the many and varied activities on offer and I hope your child has felt confident enough to step outside their comfort zone to try something new.

Finally, this week we said farewell to Karen Fleming who has been managing the Rivergum Cafe for the past few years. We would like to thank Karen for her commitment and hard work, and we wish her well as she leaves Alice Springs to be closer to her family.

Thank you and Be Kind Always,

~ Mr Roger Herbert
