Visit by McKay family

McKay House News

Our McKay House is incredibly fortunate to still have members of the McKay family attend some of our College events, and share wonderful memories of Fred McKay.

On Thursday 19th May we had Bruce McKay accompanied by his sister Ruth and her husband Roger, as well as his older sister Margaret and her husband Ian. Bruce, Marg and Ruth attended a whole House meeting and presented our leaders: Scarlett Worrall and Clara Yffer (McKay Captains) and Maddie Luey, Maddi Brown and Orlando Balmer (McKay Vice Captains) with their ties. The ceremony was aptly held within the Fred McKay Education Centre (Fred Shed). 

As we like to acknowledge all leaders in McKay House, ties were also presented to College Captain Bobby Zeng and Sports Academy Captain, Trey Wilkinson.

It was a lovely morning sharing this event with members of the McKay family, and being able to welcome all of them back into our own McKay House family.
