Every day, within Sacré Cœur, stories such as these unfold and it is these stories that enrich our experience as a community.
This story of a mother and daughter, both
Sacré Cœur girls, will be one of our favourites of 2021.

Women’s Inter-school Golf Challenge Cup
On 14 April, Rosemary Kelly, Cathy Moran, Cathy Gowers and Colleen Bolton competed in the Women’s Inter-School Golf Challenge Cup. This long standing event, once called the Sun Cup, was established to Unite Past Female Students of Victorian Independent Schools. SacréCœur has been victorious twice in 1965 and 1994.
More information about the event can be found HERE
Rosemary Kelly reports on their day:
Today we played in the 92nd Women’s Inter-school Golf Challenge Cup at Commonwealth Golf Club.
Our golf was enjoyable, the weather was great for golf, but our golf wasn’t as good as it might have been.
We didn’t win! But we had a lovely day.
The winning team was from Clarendon College, Ballarat. Second was St Margaret’s Berwick and Camberwell Girls Grammar came third .
Maybe next year it will be us!
Big thanks to Cathy Moran for organising our team – again. Cathy has been doing this for around 12 years and is now passing the baton to me to co-ordinate!
Please get in touch with me if you would like to participate.
