What Is Positive Start?

The Positive Start Program is an initiative by the Department Of Education to fund free camps for students in response to the negative impact of school closures and missed experiences over the course of the Covid19 pandemic.

Can My Child Attend?

If your child is in years 3-10 at school they most likely qualify. Any child who has missed more than 5 days of school, because of closures INCLUDING PERIODS OF ONLINE LEARNING due to COVID19 qualifies for funding. This qualifies most Victorian students.

When? Where? How?

• 20+ Holiday camp events are running from Dec – Apr this Summer
• Mornington Peninsula Location
• 3 & 5 day options are available.
• City central bus pickup and drop off available.

MPS YOUTH SERVICES

Our school holiday program is for all 10 – 17 year olds.

Join fun activities led by qualified youth workers in each of our three youth centres.

Hang out in a safe relaxing space and enjoy free Wi-Fi, video games, pool tables, art supplies, games and food!

You don’t need to book for activities held in the centres each day, although you need to register your child’s details with us.

You will need to register your interest for excursions as they have limited numbers.
