District Cross Country

Well done to the 25 students who took part in the Noble Park District Cross Country last week.   All the students did really well and as a combined effort were able to contribute to the school coming 3rd place out of the 13 schools who were there.  This was a fantastic effort - well done.

8 of the team - Leilla, Holly, Sydney, Leon, Nicholas, Chloe, Edwina and Shaenyce came in the top 10 so made it through to the next round which was the Dandenong Divisional Cross country the week after.   

In the Divisional event, 6 made it through to the Sounthern Regional Cross Country being held in Hastings next week.  Good luck to Sydney, Leon, Nicholas, Chloe, Edwina and Shaenyce in the next round.

Athletics

In term 3 students in Year 4, 5 and 6 will also get to try out for the District Athletics team. Information from class teachers will be given to the students next term.

SSV State Players

Congratulations to Leah and Ezekiel who both made the SSV State teams for Tag rugby and Rugby League Teams.  Both students had to go for trials against a lot of other students and were picked out of all the children in the state to represent Victoria in the next SSV games which will be held in Queensland.  Good luck.

Play/Build Club

Play and build club is still going strong - seeing lots of children in Years 1 and 2 come to use the natural and loose play equipment we have on offer.  We now have a Mud kitchen which the children love to play with.  

If you have any items at home that you could donate to the club please bring it in to our school office.  Things such as:

Planks of wood

Unbroken pipes

Buckets and spades

Pots and pans
