Shining Stars

On Friday September 9th, five students from the Support Unit performed in a dance item titled “Shining Stars” as part of the NSW State Dance Festival. The students attended five full day workshops at Ashcroft Public School before taking part in a matinee performance at the Seymour Centre, Chippendale. 

The students demonstrated the amazing ability to remember the dance steps to the entire dance routine and displayed no signs of stage fright despite performing in front of a huge audience. 

In addition, the students were up bright and early on a Sunday morning as they were invited to perform at the opening of the 2022 Australian Association of Special Education Conference at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour. What dedication!
