Good luck Year 12

Year 12 - End of an Era

Congratulations on your success. Your resilience and commitment have enabled you to overcome some challenging times and reach this important milestone. As the graduating class of 2022, you have played a significant role in shaping the culture and tone of our school community. Your participation in all the exciting events, assemblies, fundraisers, classrooms, and sporting activities will always be remembered. In particular, the last few months have been a great reminder of all the amazing things we can achieve if we work together.

Our Year 12 SRC and House Leadership members have been excellent representatives of Cecil Hill High School. As seniors and school leaders, you have taught your peers about the traditions and values that make this school such a great place to learn and teach. Your initiatives have not only contributed to the school but benefited the wider community.

It has been a memorable journey with the support of your amazing teachers who have taught you all the skills you need to be successful. Your Year Advisers, Mr Dunn, Ms Miletic and Miss Saliba have ensured that your wellbeing is always a priority as you transitioned from adolescents to responsible young adults.

Mr Evans, our Senior Coordinator, has helped many of you set goals for the future and actively participate in your learning. Your admiration and respect for Mr Lane is evident from my conversations with you over the last few years. As your Relieving Deputy Principal this year, I did my best to maintain the level of care and high expectations that Mr Lane had for every student in your cohort. I encourage you to think about the people who impacted your time here positively and let them know with a simple thank you.

I am confident that the friendships you have made here at school will last a lifetime. In my experience, the relationships you have made are part of the many great gifts you will take away from your time at Cecil Hills High School. You will be missed greatly and will always be a part of the Cecil family. I wish you continued success and happiness in all that you do.
