LITERACY  AT  ST JAMES

We would like to thank our wonderful families for their support this term. The way in which you continue to nurture a love of Literacy has an overwhelmingly positive impact on your child’s Literacy development, even more so in this current climate!

Your engagement in the learning activities, the way in which you create a safe and loving home environment, the way in which you generate positive family dialogue about learning as well as the way in which you establish healthy routines all makes a HUGE difference. This is not surprising, it makes sense! Yet it is also affirmed in the recent research around the elements of effective home learning. 

We thank you for your ongoing support of Literacy at St James and for recognising Literacy as a fundamental aspect of the curriculum, which it is!
