Use of MCA Student backpacks

As we move to the last weeks of the school year, it has become noticeable that many students are using MCA sports bags or shoulder bags to carry their equipment between classes.

A reminder that the expectation is for students to use a college backpack as the everyday bag to carry books and equipment between classes. Sports bags must be kept in a locker. The smaller MCA shoulder bag can be used for carrying a change of clothes for PE practical lessons including gear needed for swimming lessons.

Expected Standards

As we reach the end of the term, this week all House groups will be doing a uniform and grooming check with their students.  Please ensure that your son is looking their best to and from school. 

At this time of year, students will drop their standards, particularly in the yard and ovals during break times.  A reminder at Marist we have a hands-off policy and mobile phones are expected to be in lockers during the day. Could you please have a conversation with your son to support the College expectations.
