Yellow Trim for Senior Blazers

Last week, Year 11 parents received an email regarding the option to have yellow trim added to their son’s blazer for Year 12 2023. Current Year 10s (Year 11, 2023) will also have an opportunity to wear a blazer with yellow trim and will be able to purchase one of these blazers from the Uniform Shop in time for Term 2 2023.

This new addition to the blazer for Year 11 and 12 students is an initiative introduced by the Head of College, Mr Michael Newman, as a way of recognising Year 11 and 12 students as seniors, and honouring College tradition by reinstating this special trim which used to be a feature on MCA blazers in the past. This trim is optional for Year 11 and 12 students from 2023, however, it is our hope that they will embrace this new tradition and be proud to wear the yellow trim as they move into the senior school.

A quick reminder to Year 12, 2023 parents and guardians that existing blazers need to be dry cleaned and given to the Uniform Shop by Friday 18 November to allow enough time for the blazer to be returned to the College for the start of 2023.
