Drum Workshop

On Friday 30 August, Drum students in the Instrumental Music program and VCE Music students attended a fantastic interactive skills workshop today, with one of Australia's sought after drummers, Gerry Pantazis.

Gerry has performed and/or recorded with artists including Hugh Jackman, Tommy Emmanuel, Bachelor Girl, Guy Sebastian, Anthony Callea, David Campbell, Doug Parkinson, Lisa Edwards, Peter Cupples, Olivia Newton John, Stylus, Silvia Paladino, The Seekers and Roachford (UK).

Along with movie and TV credits, Gerry has also performed with Carols by Candlelight, The Logies, Hey Hey its Saturday, Dancing with the Stars, Australia's Got Talent, X Factor and AFL Grand Finals pre game entertainment.

We thank Gerry for joining us today. The students thoroughly enjoyed today's workshop.

Year 11 Music Performance

 Unit 2, Outcome 1, Group Performance SAC

Students performed in the Performing Arts Theatre, for an audience of friends, family and LHS staff.

The music included interpretations on original pieces by Michael Jackson, Prince and Whitney Houston.

Unit 4 VCE Music Performance Night

Unit 4 Music Performance students will be presenting pieces from their upcoming exam program.
