Soccer Gala Day New Date

The Diocesan Gala Day will now be held on Friday 3rd September. A new permission note and call for help with carpooling will be sent out later in the term. Fingers crossed the weather  and COVID will be kinder to us!

Diocesan Athletics Carnival

The Armidale Diocesan Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday the 13th of August at the Tamworth Regional Athletics Centre. This

carnival is a selection event for the Polding Athletics Carnival at the Hunter Sports Centre, Glendale, on Friday 10th September 2021. Notes have been sent home with those students who qualified. The events they qualified for are highlighted on the note. There was a typo on the note in regards to costing. The cost for participation is $8 which is to be made via the Qkr! App. All notes need to be returned by this Wednesday 21st of July. Unfortunately, at this stage there are no spectators allowed at this event. Students will need to be dropped off and collected from the event. I will be the supervising teacher in attendance. 

Diocesan Cricket Trials

Ayden Coward and Cooper Marheine participated in the Armidale Diocesan Cricket Trials held in Tamworth yesterday. Both the boys played wonderfully and it was a great experience for them both. Well done boys on representing our school with such pride and enthusiasm.

Term 3 Sport

We are happy to announce that we have once again been successful in applying for a Sporting Schools Grant for T3. 

This term students will be travelling to and from the lovely new basketball complex by bus each Wednesday for the next 5 weeks.  Aussie Hoops sessions will be run by Mr Matthew Hobson from Tamworth Basketball.  All students must have a current permission note to be able to attend. There is no cost for Basketball. 

Basket ball sessions will be as follows:

Infants: 12:30pm - 1:15pm

Y3/4: 1:15pm - 2:00 pm

Y5/6: 2:00pm - 2:45pm

T3 Tennis

As Years 3/4/5/6 missed out on their final session with Mitch due to bad weather, we have booked the tennis courts for Wednesday the 25th of August. Students will travel to and from the courts by bus.
