The Feast of Sts Joachim & Anne
Next Monday, 26th July, we celebrate Grandparents' Day as we remember Jesus' grandparents Sts Joachim and Anne. The following video is some information on these two saints. The students and staff will begin this day with a Liturgy in the School Library, followed by special activities in the middle and afternoon sessions to celebrate our grandparents and adopted grandparents.
The theme for Marriage and Family Week 2021 is “I am with you always”. In Matthew's gospel, at the very end, it says: “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
