Year 4

This term, Year 4 is diving into the world of poetry. This week we have incorporated a new twist, alliteration! The children went on a literary treasure hunt, uncovering the secrets of repeating sounds in their favourite poem books. They became detectives of language, spotting the sneaky alliteration that adds rhythm to verses. And guess what? They didn't stop at spotting – they became creators too! Crafting their own playful poems, they painted pictures with words, making sounds sing and dance on the pages.
