Year 3

Sydney Water Incursion

Year 3 participated in the Sydney Water incursion where they learnt valuable lessons about how items break down in water and the urban water cycle. This incursion linked beautifully with their Geography unit where students are investigating how the environment supports the lives of people and other living things!

Measuring using rulers! 

In Mathematics this week, Year 3 have been learning how to use a ruler to measure the length of objects and using metres, centimetres and millimetres to record.
