BASP Food Drives

After two attempts at a Winter Food Drive for BASP, both interrupted by COVID and remote learning, we will now focus on a Christmas Food Drive. Students from Years 10 to 12, upon returning to the College, are encouraged to bring an item of food or toiletry into the College and to contribute to this worthy cause.

COVID has been hard for many, none more so than our most vulnerable. Asylum seekers, with little or no source of income, have found the last 18 months very challenging. Basic necessities are in high demand.

The items already contributed by the Year 7 to 9 students have been collected from Homerooms, checked that they are still in the use by date, and will be delivered along with the contributions of the senior school.

The Year 7 to 9 year levels will finish the year with the St Vincent De Paul Christmas hampers. Each year many wonderful hampers brimming with Christmas cheer are distributed to families in need within our communities. Food and gift items will be called for once the junior levels are back onsite.

Strava Challenge

We hit our target of $10,000 in September! Once again, a big thank you to everyone that contributed to our Strava challenge which raised much needed funds for BASP. Total raised was $10,195.
