Creating Success Together!

Over the coming months you will notice a change to the look of the Good News Lutheran College (GNLC) ‘Brand’. We are thrilled to reveal this milestone in the journey of GNLC as we unveil an updated logo/crest. This design is the result of conversations with students, families, staff and wider community. 

The crest has been updated to represent the vibrant and diverse community we now serve. 

The shield design is inspired from the Bible in Ephesians 6:16-17 (GNB)

“16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

As the community of Good News Lutheran College, we put on the ‘full armour of God’ sharing the Good News of our Lord Jesus. The cross with its red decorative features has become an integral part of our identity, representing Good News Lutheran College for over sixteen years, and now even further into the future, as our community grows with the establishment of an ELC in 2024 and the commencement of the campus at Mambourin in 2025. 

As we commemorated 25 years of GNLC last year, we recognised the need for exploration, evolution and embracing change. The new crest and tagline “Creating Success Together” will represent our GNLC community in this coming era. 

The new brand will be phased in gradually in order to reduce any burden for the College or GNLC families.

At GNLC, we are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential and shine. We strive to explore and define what success means for every member of the GNLC family, including students, staff, families and old scholars. 

Exciting times are ahead, and we invite you to join us in embracing our new crest and tagline as we are Creating Success Together. More information regarding the phase in period will be communicated over the coming Term and beyond!
