Interschool Badminton

On Tuesday 13 June, selected Year 9 and 10 students attended Eagle Stadium for their interschool badminton tournament. Students were up against different schools and played various singles and doubles matches. The players exhibited respect for their opponents, celebrated each other's achievements, and demonstrated remarkable resilience when playing the match. The match was not just a display of athletic ability, but also a demonstration to the values of sportsmanship and teamwork that the school instils in its students.

The college's core values of Grace, Respect, Integrity and Courage were highly maintained whilst also collaborating with their teammates and discussing match strategies. At the interschool badminton competition, the students’ commitment and perseverance led to an impressive second place. The dedication of students was highly commended, as well as their effective teamwork and sportsmanship towards the matches. I would like to thank all the teachers and staff involved in making this possible.

Congratulations to all the teams who have recently represented GNLC in interschool sporting events. The matches were a great example to the passion students had for the sport and their commitment to representing the college with pride.
