Rhonda Georgys - Food Technology Assistant
Hi, my name is Rhonda Georgys and I am so happy to be here working at this beautiful school. Prior to joining the St. Anne's Community, I previously worked at St Brendan's Primary School as the Canteen Manager for ten years. I love working with food in any capacity and I am thrilled to be the new Food Technology Assistant. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and going on day trips. Entertaining family and friends is another love, as is going to the Gym. I love cooking Greek food, I love anything Greek really. I am excited for what my new role has to offer. I also look forward to meeting a lot of new people along the way, by learning, growing and sharing with staff and students.
Meredith Lia - SOP Leader, Community and Wellbeing
Hello to all in the St. Anne’s College Community. I recently joined St. Anne’s at the end of May this year in the role of Inclusive Education Leader - Policies and Procedures. I am thankful to Sue Carroll and all of the staff at the college for the wonderful support I have received and for the professionalism and hard work that has been put into documenting information for the requirements of NCCD. Amazingly I now have a new opportunity moving into the role of School of Possibilities Leader - Community and Wellbeing. I am blessed to be joining a wonderful team in the School of Possibilities and am excited to work alongside Sarah Baglin and contribute to the fantastic work that has already been done. I look forward to the excitement and possibilities that are presented as we work towards welcoming our first year of year 12 students and new student leaders in 2024. I hope to continue to get to know our senior students and their families and have thoroughly enjoyed my time at St. Anne’s to date.
Callum Thompson - SOI Leader, Community and Wellbeing
Callum Thompson has recently joined the college, working within the School of Innovation. Callum serves as the School Leader of Community and Wellbeing, collaborating closely with Rachel Chapman, the School Leader of Teaching and Learning. Additionally, Callum will be teaching Physical Education and Health subjects which he is extremely passionate about.
Prior to working at St Anne’s College I worked at St Brendan’s Primary School for the past four years. Before this, I spent time working in both primary and secondary settings as a classroom and Physical Education teacher. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family which consists of my wife Laura and three year old daughter Louisa. We are also expecting a second child in December of this year, a baby boy which we are greatly looking forward to. I also enjoy sport, exercise and any outdoor activity. Callum Thompson
Emma O'Keeffe - SOW Leader, Community and Wellbeing
Hi, my name is Emma O'Keeffe and I am the SOW Community and Wellbeing Leader, as well as a PE teacher in the School of Wonder. I am a sports enthusiast and love sharing my passion for movement amongst our little ones. Last year I competed at the Sport Aerobics World Championships in Prague, where I took home the World Championship title, something I'm really proud of as I hang up my individual competing shoes after 20 years in the sport. I hope to bring my positive attitude into the SOW space and remind our little ones that anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
