Benvenuto - Welcome

What Joy it is to congratulate Jas Buha and her partner Joe as they welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Jed Francesco Wilson. As a community, we are excited for all of the wonderful moments that Jas and her new little family will experience as Jed grows and develops. 

Today marked the celebration of 100 days of school for our Foundation students. It was so wonderful to see the excited students dressed to represent ‘100’ with students dressed as 100 year old people to others with ‘100’ represented on their clothing. We were reflecting today on how much these children have grown and developed over those 100 days. To see their knowledge, skills and attitudes to learning in action each day is such a privilege. Thank you to the very dedicated, hard-working staff who made the celebration possible. 

Last Wednesday we were able to celebrate the feasts of Saints Anne and Joachim (The grandparents of Jesus) along with a celebration of the world day for grandparents and the elderly. The Mass celebration, led by Fr Peter at Christ the King Church was well attended and it was great to see some of the grandparents and special people in the children’s lives come back to the college after Mass to share lunch together. It was a beautiful sunny day filled with love and laughter. 

We thank Kim Bristow for supporting the grade 3/4 students over the last four weeks as a learning mentor. On Monday we welcome Cindy Luksch back from her overseas adventure and ready to launch into learning.
