From the Principal

Simon Harvey

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, Staff and Friends of St Norbert College,

IT was a special privilege to mark the Year 12 Graduation milestone with our Class of 2021 last week and to have so many parents and family members present for the assembly and the Eucharistic celebration.

There was a beautiful line in the Opening Prayer that captures our hopes for the graduating students;

Help us Lord, to be a light to this world, so that our lives radiate your message

of love, hope, and joy.

I would like to acknowledge our graduating class this year, not for their faults and failings but for the love, hope and joy they have brought to our College and for the light they have been for us. The Class of 2021 will be remembered for how they as a collective, have treated people along the way and we couldn’t be stronger in our praise.

I shared with the assembled gathering, my three wishes for this group, in fact for all members of our College community;

  1. That we get to make the contributions to the world at large that we were born to make and make a difference to the thousands or millions of people that we meet and interact with along the way.
  2. That we appreciate the gift of a St Norbert College education and that the College has and continues to have, an immeasurably positive impact on all of us and our futures.
  3. That we get to live our dreams. That our lives are filled with joy, hope and above all, love. And where there is love – there is God because God is Love.

We thank the Year 12 students from the Class of 2021 for their contributions to St Norbert College and for the positive chapter that they have written in the long and proud history of our school.

Presentation Night 2021

Following such positive feedback after the simulcast of the College Presentation Night in 2020, and with still some uncertainty about large scale events, the College has decided to again video record the Annual Presentation Night this year. The event will be simulcast on Sunday, 21 November from 7.00pm.

We have made some changes to the format which is very exciting, one of which is the announcement of the award winners – so you’ll need to tune in on the night to see who are the recipients.

God Bless.

Mr S Harvey (Principal)
