Graduation, Important dates

Year 12 Graduation

Congratulations to the Class of 2021 for completing their St Norbert College education! Last Friday, the College celebrated the final day for Year 12 students culminating in the Graduation Mass and Ceremony that was held in St Joseph’s Church that night. The whole day was an amazing celebration commencing with the Year 12 Breakfast at 8am before moving on to the Graduation Assembly before finally concluding with the Graduation Mass that evening. The Class of 2021 has been a great cohort of students and their parents and family members should be proud of the young men and women they have become.

For those students following an ATAR pathway, the WACE exams commence on Monday, 1 November, with the ATAR Physical Education Studies Exam. We wish all of our Year 12 students the very best for upcoming exams and for the exciting pathways that lie ahead of them. A reminder that Year 12 students will be able to access their results and statements online from Monday, 20 December. Students will be required to log into the SCSA Student Portal to access these results. It is also a good time to remind Year 12 families to download reports off SEQTA prior to the end of the year so that you have an ongoing record of your child’s achievement over their time at the College.

Year 10 Information

Year 10 examinations commence on Thursday, 18 November (Week 4.6). Students are required to only attend school when they have a scheduled examination. All Year 10 students are required to return to the school on Monday 29 November for exam reviews and then have their Year 10 Mass and Assembly on Tuesday 30 November. After this students will head off on their Christian Service Learning and/or Careers & Enterprise work placement. Over the coming week, I will be meeting with a small number of Year 10 students about their Year 11 subjects. For those students wishing to make alterations for their pathway into Year 11, there will be an opportunity to meet with me after the publishing of Year 10 results later this term.

Pick Up & Drop Off

A reminder to all parents that the main entrance of the College (outside the Priory) is not a pick up/drop off area. There are some exceptions to this where there are medical reasons which the College has approved, but the majority of parents should not be using the main entrance to the College immediately before or after school as it creates a dangerous situation for our students as they move around the College. This also applies to those families who are dropping off younger children for the Year 6 Mathematics Boot Camp.
