Community Tree Planting Day

We are excited to announce we are finally able to have a Community Tree Planting Day out at the shelter property in Koonoomoo. 

Our previous attempts didn’t happen due to Covid but this year we have registered with Planet Arks National Tree Day 2022. The event will be held on Sunday the 31st of July from 11am to 2pm followed by a BBQ and a Bushwalk/Koala Spot for those interested. 

The tree planting is at the shelter, the idea is to plant out native feed trees in an area on the property to be used in the future to feed the animals in care and also to use as a soft release area and habitat.

PLEASE NOTE - there will be no access to any of the animals in care at the shelter.
