Advice to younger MITS students:

You will experience homesickness each time you return to school but use those low moments to remind yourself why you are down here. Remember those low moments will pass and you will become a stronger person each time.

Highlight of time in Melbourne so far:

Being able to go out to Lorne on the weekends.

Biggest challenge:

My challenge now is that I am currently the only year 10 MITS student at my partner school because some of the other girls in my Wellington St House have not returned yet. I am struggling to find my confidence to be in class by myself again.

Greatest achievement:

Footy bound 2018!

My greatest achievement is being in Melbourne for 4 years.

Anyone to thank and why:

I would like to thank MITS and Wellington St crew for keeping me happy and safe while I’m in Melbourne.
