Principal's Report

Mid-year reports

Reports home tomorrow

Semester reports will be sent home via email (Sentral) tomorrow afternoon.  I hope you all enjoy reading your child's report with them and celebrating their numerous achievements as well as looking forward to the next challenges and milestones.

Please take the time to read them carefully and praise your child for their efforts, particularly given the trying circumstances of learning whilst enduring a world-wide pandemic.

Classroom moves underway

Yesterday, was our first day of removalists on-site, to relocate classes out of the relocatable buildings.  You will notice from next week, our current site becoming a construction area, with much of our grounds having temporary fencing placed around it.

It's exciting times, as we edge toward a term three start on the expanded site for staff and students to enjoy.

We thank everyone for their continued flexibility and understanding during this transition phase of the capital works project.

Happy First Responders Day!

We have many first responders in our school community.  On behalf of the Miners Rest K-6 Team and our school community, thank you for all you do in your various roles.

You are all wonderfully skilled and extremely important to all of us - keep up the great work and please enjoy the official "First Responders Day" to celebrate your feats.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
