Asthma and Allergy Action Plans

Reminder to those parents that have not sent in new Action Plans. Asthma Plans must be renewed every year. Allergy Action Plans are required for all students with allergies to Food, Insects or Medicines. Please make sure the correct form is filled in with all details, signs & symptoms, triggers and medications information and signed by a medical practitioner. 

 

It is a parent responsibility to ensure the school have current action plans in place to care for your child.  The school now has a no action plan no excursion policy, so please make sure you get those plans in well before any excursion or camp. 

 

If your child no longer has asthma or allergies please email the school to withdraw the condition from our records. 

Reminder that sharing of food at school is not allowed under the DET covid safe plan.

If your child is displaying symptoms, we encourage you to have them tested for covid. Students displaying symptoms will be sent home.

Remember to Stay Safe and Stay Open, we all need to follow the DHHS advice.

Summer has ended but the sun can still cause harm. We encourage you to apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school. There is sunscreen available in the classroom, for children to reapply if needed. It is Coles and Woolworths homebrand 50+. If your child has any allergies to this particular sunscreen please notify your child’s teacher. 

Head Lice Reminder

Please regularly check your child’s hair. If head lice are found, please treat them before sending your child to school and notify the school via email. cranbourne.south.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au
