Principal News

CSPS have been focusing on being gracious and thankful.  There are numerous ways to show gratitude including such as:

  • Manners Monday
  • Check in Tuesday
  • Ways to Help Wednesday
  • Thoughtful Thursday
  • Friendship Friday

I have thoroughly enjoyed hearing and seeing expressions of gratitude around our school.

On a personal level, I feel gratitude when:

  • students talk about how proud they are of the work they complete
  • families share a smile, wave and funny joke in the Kiss and Go zone
  • staff are excited when a student understands and shines with a new learnt concept

What are you grateful for?

Foundation Literacy Information Session

Foundation families are are invited to an Foundation Literacy Information session on Tuesday, 9 March, at 6:30pm.

At the session, we will provide information about our Systematic Synthetic Phonics program, ways parents and carers can support children’s reading, spelling development at home and opportunities to volunteer in the classroom.

The information session will be held in the gallery (dependent on the number of attendees).  All parents and carers are welcome.

Many parents who have understood and become actively involved in supporting their child’s literacy development, have described this as an enriching and valuable experience.
