House Swimming commentary from our intrepid reporters: 

Willem 4A - The best thing at the swimming carnival was when the teachers beat the grade 6’s. Doing the novelty events was really fun because we got to do a swimming race, and Mrs. Natalia said that we were doing a water gun war. On the bus it was fun looking for animals and talking to Conor.

Conor 4A - My favourite part of the swimming carnival was the novelty event because we got to squirt the teachers. It was great seeing my Mum come to watch too. 

Jett 4A- Squirt! Squirt! When I was hopping in the pool Mrs A was shooting me with the water gun. I got a third place ribbon at the swimming carnival. I was super excited that I won it. On the huge bus Ruby, Cody, Lachy and I were singing the wheels on the bus and twinkle, twinkle little star.

Noah 4A- The swimming carnival was fantastic! It was at Crib Point heated pool. I entered the novelty events. It was so warm in the pool. Mrs Waiti was the commentator. She was so funny!

Arizona 4A - When we went to the swimming carnival, I was super nervous but really excited too. It was so enjoyable but the best part of it was cheering on my friends. Also I came first in backstroke and second in breaststroke. It was fun! I am proud of myself and I love swimming!

Eli 4A - The swimming carnival was BRILLIANT! The bus ride was not bad in the slightest. I was under my teams tent cheering on the swimmers the whole time. I've never done anything more fun at school. 

Lara 4A -  It was super fantastic for our first time. I had a lot of people cheering for me when I raced! I loved the teachers V year sixes race. I was hoping for the sixes to win but the teachers were FAST.

Jack 4B - At the swimming carnival we had a lot of fun and a lot of races. The teacher vs the year 6s was my favourite race of the day. 

Zavia 4B - My favorite part of the swimming carnival was the teachers V year 6. The teachers won. It was epic. 

Elisha 4B - My favourite part of the swimming carnival was the novelty events because I got to squirt the teachers with the water blasters.The bus ride felt like it took forever because I was so excited. It was warm in the pool but when I got out it was freezing!
