YR 9 School of Leadership Opportunity
All Year 9 students attended a meeting in the theatrette during today’s RAPS session. At this meeting they received some written information about WPSC’s invitation to send three boys and three girls to the Snowy River Campus of the School for Student Leadership. The duration of the stay at this residential school is for the 9 weeks of Term 2.
Students listened to recounts from last year’s team of participants, as well as from two of our current trainees in Meg Nicholls and Max Diamond. Both Meg and Max encouraged students to consider applying for this “once in a lifetime experience”, which they believe contributed to the confidence and resilience that they now demonstrate as young adults.
Students who are interested in being considered have collected an expression of interest form that is to be completed and returned to Ms Utber or the front office by next Wednesday (27th Feb).
