Band Day

In the morning session our year 11/12 music class came 1st

Year 7 music class came 1st (1st time OCC has won this shield)

We had 2 year 9 groups in the year 9/10 class section. One group received 2nd place and the other group a HC

In the afternoon both our year 12 band and 7/8 band came 2nd in their events. 

Duet

Congratulations to Ian Berney who performed brilliantly at Armidale Eisteddfod on Thursday afternoon. Pictured here with Mr Myers, the two played together in the duet section.

Lucy Selby & Poppy Stace - 1st Australian Dance Enterprises

Kaylah Selby performed in a restricted 15 years modern routine and Piper Doran performed in a 12 years jazz routine, they did not place but might be nice to still mention them and say they performed in these solos and did a great job. 

Charlie Killen & Fayth Jolliffe performed in all the Australian Dance Enterprises group dances with all the above students competing with dance studios from all over NSW & QLD.
