School for Student Leadership

We have been very fortunate to secure five places at the Gnurad-Gundidj School for Student Leadership. Laura Henderson, Rebecca Johanson, Isabelle Watson and Gabe and Christian Hammond are currently residing at the camp located in Glenormiston and they will remain there for the remainder of Term One. 

The group have joined students from all over the state and throughout their time at camp they will develop their understanding of leadership and their leadership capabilities.

Before they left we caught up for a chat about their expectations. All students were looking forward to the adventure, but were feeling a little nervous about being away from home for so long and going into a situation that is completely unfamiliar to them. Phones are not allowed at camp and Bec, in particular, was somewhat worried about this! We’re sure she is doing just fine and enjoying life sans phone!

What a great opportunity! We can’t wait to hear about their adventures and the new things they learnt.
