Principal's Notes

Hi everyone

I hope you enjoy today’s edition of ‘Healesville High Connections’.

We are continuing the format used during remote learning and the regular transitions between remote and on-site learning over the past two years for our newsletters. The newsletters (‘Connections’) will be more personal and will highlight more of the positive aspects of school life and far more about individual students and individual staff members than may have been the case in past times.

In this edition you will hear about (and from) our new school captains; there is an article about our recent swimming sports and many accompanying photographs, and you will learn a little about several new staff members, amongst many interesting and informative offerings.

A positive of the past two years (amongst many less-positive and very challenging aspects) has been the connection between school, students, families and local community and we want to not only maintain those connections but even further develop them, if that is possible.

Staff members greatly value these positive interactions, and we are so grateful for the amazing support we have been offered throughout the COVID times. Thank you sincerely for your generosity, your kind words and actions and for the positive feedback given about the work of teachers and non-teaching staff.
