Performing Arts update
It has been another action-packed fortnight, Jazz Ensemble performing at the Art Projection Night, Year 9 Drama students performing at the Suitcase Series at the Malthouse Theatre, Year 12 Valedictory assembly, as well as piano, vocal and string AMEB exams. I would like to congratulate all of the students who sat an AMEB exam recently, it takes no small amount of grit and organisation to prepare for it.
With the last day of Shelford’s Year 12’s I would like to acknowledge the commitment and dedication of our Year 12 musicians. I would like to wish them all the very best for their exams, as well as the exciting opportunities that will come their way:

Presentation Evening
Presentation Evening is coming up on Tuesday 22 November. In order to prepare for this, there are 3 rehearsal days for all students involved to attend:
- Friday 18 November – Rehearsal day for all ensembles performing at Presentation Evening (including all Year 12’s)
- Monday 21 November – Full run through of Presentation Evening in the Hall
- Tuesday 22 November – Rehearsal at Robert Blackwood Hall
More information will be available of each day shortly, please mark these days in your calendar.

Years 5 and 7 Band program and Junior Concert Band
The Years 5 and 7 Band program along with the Junior Concert band will be performing during lunchtime on Tuesday 15 November. The concert will commence 12.50pm sharp, all parents are welcome to attend.
Instrumental lessons
