YEAR 12 O'REILLY TEAMMATES JACK FIRTH, JACK GRANT AND JACK BARRETT ROW FOR GOLD

Congratulations to Jay Firth, Jack Grant and Jack Barrett (Year 12 O'Reilly) who won GOLD while competing as members of the Western Suns State Surf U19 Boat team in the Australian Surf Rowers League Interstate Championships last week. The 'three Js' have been rowing together since Year 8 and have worked extremely hard to reach this level.

While at the competition in Bulli Beach, NSW, the team also had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in bigger waves while competing in the Australian Surf Rowing League Open events.

Well done!

BRENDAN HEATH (YEAR 12) - BASEBALL

Congratulations to Brendan Heath (Year 12 Carden) who recently returned from representing the ACT as a member of their U18s team at the Australian Youth Baseball Championships in Sydney, NSW. Brendan initially travelled as a train on for WA and was later put through a separate selection process for a place in the ACT's team when they noticed they were short on players.

Following a great performance at the nationals, Brendan recently received the news that he has been selected into the School Boys Interstate Baseball team that will be competing in May in Lismore, NSW. Well done Brendan and good luck at the competition!

ISAAC COHEN (YEAR 11) - FUTSAL

In late January, Isaac Cohen (Year 11 O’Reilly) represented WA as the Captain of the U16 Mens team at the Australian Futsal Association National Championships in Melbourne, VIC. The team performed very well, finishing just outside of finals on goal difference. Following a strong individual performance, Isaac was then selected into the Australian Allstar squad. Well done, Isaac!
