Open House Melbourne 2018

Sacré Cœur has been selected to take part in the Open House Melbourne 2018 Weekend for the first time. As part of the Sacré Cœur’s 130th anniversary celebrations, many of the School’s historically significant buildings will be opened to the general public on: 

Saturday 28 July 2018 from 10am - 1pm 

as part of a guided tours program. A student art exhibition and heritage display will also feature.

Since 2008, Open House Melbourne has facilitated more than 900,000 visits to 934 sites across Melbourne and Ballarat, enabling 229,660 people to explore and celebrate many of Victoria’s significant architectural landmarks.

The 2018 Open House Melbourne program will be officially launched on Thursday 21 June. Visit the OHM website for more details.

Open House Melbourne 2018 Weekend runs over the weekend of 28-29 July 2018.

Sacré Cœur Tour Details

Guided tours will be conducted on Saturday 28 July 2018. Tours will depart at 10am, 10.45am, 11.30am, 12.15pm and 1pm and run for 30 minutes.

Limited tour places are available and bookings are essential.

Bookings open on Friday 13 July 2018 via the OHM website. A small OHM booking fee applies.

Areas of the school which will be open:

Chapel, Mater’s Chapel, Grand staircase, Parlour, Heritage Room and Brynmawr (external viewing only for this building).
