Important Messages

Please keep an eye out for any compass messages, the weekly newsletter and any notes coming home in bags to ensure that you are aware of what is coming up during the busy last couple of weeks of the school year. As always, please just ask a staff member if you have any questions. 

Scotsburn Christmas break-up

In light of the recent changes to restrictions, we are delighted to announce that we are now able to hold our annual Scotsburn Christmas Breakup on Tuesday 15th Dec (5.30pm – 7pm). There will be some slight changes to our evening from recent years, to ensure we adhere to all safety procedures and protocols. These changes include:

-             The Christmas break up will be held on the Scotsburn Campus school oval to help maintain social distancing.

-             All families are invited to bring along their own rug or chairs to sit on.

-             All families are invited to bring along their own food and drinks to eat with their family (no shared supper)

End of Year Activities

We have some fun activities planned for the end of the school year. These include our shared lunch, class KK, Fun Day at the Fed Uni pool, Scotsburn Christmas Breakup and our Gr 6 Graduation Night. Please ensure that the permission note for the Fed Uni Pool is returned ASAP. 

Pie Drive

A big thanks to Laura for organising this fundraiser and to the many families who returned an order form. The pies will be delivered on Thursday 3rd December. As we will be at the Buninyong Campus on this day, please ensure that you make arrangements to pick them up from the Buninyong Campus (courtyard) at the end of the day. 

Gr 6 Camp

The Gr 6’s from both campuses will be camping at Scotsburn this Thursday 3rd – Friday 4th December. As such, SC1, SC2 & the Scotsburn Gr 5’s will be spending those 2 days at the Buninyong campus in the Gr 6 end of the BER. We ask that all Scotsburn Gr P-5 students meet Mr O’Loughlin and Mrs Anderson in the courtyard from 8.45am on both days. Students will be available for collection from the courtyard at the end of each day.

iPad Available

One of our very generous families has offered their daughters iPad free of charge to anyone who is in need of one for next year. If you would like to take up this very generous offer, please contact Shaun ASAP. 

Prep 2021 Orientation Day

With the recent changes to restrictions, we are now in a position to run the Orientation day for the 2021 Preps. We’ll use this day as we have done in the past to also split the current Scotsburn students into their class groupings for 2021. 

P-2 Fun Afternoon

Prep - Two students were delighted to stay at school last Thursday for a fun afternoon, due to the normal sleepover not going ahead this year. A snack of pancakes, followed by games and fun, and then Mr O's famous BBQ, was all that was needed to see big smiles and lots of laughter. A big thank you to Sharon and Raquel who also stayed around to assist for the evening. 

Japanese Theme Day

The Scotsburn Campus students had a great day last Friday. It’s always a valuable experience for the Scotsburn kids to spend some time at the Buninyong Campus and I’m sure they enjoyed all of the fun activities too. 

SC1 & SC2 Santa Sleigh Webex Incursion

On Monday, the students from SC1 and SC2 participated in a Webex incursion focussing on objects that you have to ‘Push and Pull’. The students then put their creative hats on to begin making a sleigh for Santa. It was lots of fun.

Term 4 - Lunch Order Roster 

As we will be at the Buninyong Campus this Friday, Scotsburn students can order a lunch order if they wish. A reminder that from week 10, lunch orders will only be available for Scotsburn students on a Wednesday.
