From the Principal

Welcome to the new term
Our students have made a pleasing start to the new term looking resplendent in winter uniform. I would like to especially welcome families joining the College for the first time and extend a warm welcome to our new staff:
- Ms Maggie Crowley – Primary Teacher
- Miss Hannah Daga – Science
- Mr Nicholas Greeney – English
- Miss Sara Kononen – Head of Sport
- Mrs Nancy Petsos – Administrative Assistant to Head of Primary
- Mrs Elizabeth Schollum – Enrolments’ Manager
- Mrs Sonia Thomas – Primary Teacher
- Mr Steven Williams – Health and Physical Education (Primary)
We trust they will have a mutually beneficial association with the College.
Thank you to students and their families for ensuring that there is a high degree of pride in presentation and grooming for the start of the winter terms.
Mary Poppins
Congratulations to Director, Mr George Tsakisiris, and to all students, staff and families involved in this week’s brilliant production of Mary Poppins. Our wonderfully talented student Cast was superbly supported by the Production Crew, Musical Band, Backstage Crew, Technical Crew, and others assisting with Make-Up, Costumes, Hair and Front of House.
It was a magnificent event and thoroughly enjoyed by sell out audiences throughout the week. I had the pleasure of watching the show with my own family and guests. They were amazed at the quality of the performance and the professionalism of all involved. Borrowing a line from Mary Poppins, it was ‘practically perfect’ in every way.
ANZAC Remembrance
With ANZAC Day commemorated in the school holidays, this week was the first opportunity to honour all Australian soldiers who had served in conflicts and peace keeping missions. We especially remembered the courage, resilience, good humour and mateship of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers.
